Although I have been a keen birder for many years, I have only recently got into wildlife photography. I still think of birdwatching as my main passion, but now I try to take some pictures of the birds I encounter aswell. Hope you enjoy my blog.

An American in Manchester
UK mega rarity, a Pied-billed Grebe, has found a country park in Greater Manchester to its liking. The bird has now been present around the nature reserve section of Hollingworth Lake for two weeks and lets hope it may now stay the winter.
